  1. ColourDetective™ v1.0 is a utility which helps you to determine 
  2. a Macintosh colour value for a given RGB colour. The values returned 
  3. for an RGB colour are in several different formats: RGB, HSV, CMYK, HTML, etc..
  4.  
  5. ColourDetective™ is particularly useful for HTML web page constructors. 
  6. When you select a colour, you get the HTML hex value for that colour. 
  7. This value can be copied and pasted directly into your HTML code in the 
  8. correct format. No longer do you have to waste time trying different hex 
  9. values to find the colour you want for a web page background or a font colour!
  10. It is also useful for Mac developers, too. You can get the hex values of an 
  11. RGB colour which you can use in your source code.

  13. A special feature of ColourDetective™ allows you to find the RGB value of 
  14. any pixel on your screen. A magnified view of the area under the cursor allows 
  15. you to pinpoint exactly which pixel you want to examine. Please read the 
  16. instructions document which accompanies the software.
